step_years maps the printed labels to years of service at which each step is reached (two six-month steps in year one, then annual, topping out at 'Thereafter' entering year 6). Base rate only — longevity and license premium are separate adders, published in their own rows.

Two licenses (A&P) = $8.50/hr. Schedule: one license $4.25, two $8.50, three $12.75 (third license starred with conditions in the agreement — read Article 15 before relying on the three-license tier). Rates as effective 8/16/2023; license premium counts in the basis for overtime, sick leave and vacation per Article 14.

Longevity accumulates per year of service and is added to the hourly rate; sick leave, vacation and overtime bases include it per Article 14.

Minimums: 4-hour minimum when recalled/reporting on a scheduled day off; 1-hour minimum when called early for travel to another station (¶6); missed meal period pays an additional half hour (¶10).

10 observed holidays plus 2 floating holidays. Required work on a holiday pays 1.5x plus the straight-time Holiday Bonus; overtime hours on a holiday beyond the regular straight-time shift pay 3x (¶13(g)).

Domestic meals/lodging are "reasonable and actual expenses" — no domestic per diem dollar figure is printed (dual-read corroborated).

Art. 24 ¶13 reimburses fire loss of personal tools/tool box and transit losses during field service with NO printed dollar cap; Art. 17 ¶3 furnishes "without cost all safety equipment". Neither prints a figure — not published is not zero.

maximum employer matching contribution as a percent of compensation (¶2(c))

Match vests 20% per year of service, fully vested at 5 years (¶2(a)). The match percentage structure below the cap, and Southwest's separate company-wide ProfitSharing Plan contribution, are not yet corroborated and are not published.

Anniversary-based bands. First year accrues 1 day per completed month (1 month = 1 day, up to 10 days at 12 months). Carryover into the next year is capped at 40 hours; up to 80 hours of unused vacation may be paid out in lieu of time off (Article 11 ¶4).

Bank cap 2,000 hours; accrual requires 90 paid hours in the month (¶9); at retirement, 12 bank hours trade for one month of continued medical coverage (¶2).
